GAL 2015: Day Twelve

Boy, I hope you are enjoying the Indie Design Gift-a-long!   Please be sure to post your progress photos and finished objects in the threads on Ravelry.

This November and December, I am blogging about some of my designs, my works in progress and showcasing other participating designers.  I hope you enjoy the links and I certainly hope you join the fun and prizes over on Ravelry.

Today is Nov 30 and the twelfth official day of the Gift-A-Long.

And today, I want to share another special pattern with you.

I began designing amigurumi crocheted animals about ten years ago.  I loved free-forming little cuties.  My dear friend Sara requested a capybara after our trip to Japan.

So I designed this little guy for her.  Sara the Capybara.

I was thrilled with the result and managed to actually write down the pattern as I went (a true rarity for me).  Included in the pattern are instructions for a special backwards single crochet stitch and some truly awesome hand-written charts.

FYI: Today is the LAST DAY of my Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale.  Use the code “cyberdeals” to buy 2, get 1 free pattern from my ravelry store.

Happy Knitting Crocheting! Join the fun on ravelry.
